I also use Hotmail and it automatically logs me on when I start it and I would like GoDaddy to work the same way. Both are on my home desktop computer and I don’t consider security to be an issue.

With the Workspace Email, you can have the password cached in your browser, however there is not an option to automatically be logged on. You might consider installing the Desktop Tools and using the notifier on your desktop.
