LinkedIn email bounce
gludwig said 2 years, 5 months ago:
I am constantly getting a message on my LinkedIn page that my GoDaddy domain email has bounced.
I can’t think why this is, but I’ve had to switch my primary email address to another to make sure I don’t miss anything.
Has anyone else had this experience? Did you find a solution?

@gludwig,
We are not aware of any issues with email and Linkedin. would you mind posting the message that you are receiving. This will contain the cause of the bounce so we can identify a solution.
Thanks!

Thanks for getting back. They never actually send me a notification, I just sort of discover it when I go to my LinkedIn home page. When it happens I see a sort of banner note at the top saying something like “one of your email addresses has bounced”. Then I have to go into my email settings and go through a bit of a process to reconfirm it. Oddly, the other email address I use (which never seems to pose any problems) is also attached to a domain at Godaddy. It should all be going through the same servers, etc. so I can’t figure out why one is always OK and the other a bit of a chronic problem.
As I just fixed it today I’ll have to wait until it happens again before I can send a screen cap (if that would even be helpful), but as I said, there isn’t any sort of more formal notification of the actual bounce, just one email with a link to click on as part of the process of re-establishing it once I initiate it. Out of all that, do you think there is anything I might be able to send you that might help?

@gludwig,
That is odd, I will admit to not reviewing a similar issue before. A screen shot would be great, however, I am going to recommend that you create a support request via the ticketing system that contains the file.

Keep us posted,

Thanks, Jason. I did as you suggested. Hopefully there’s some fix for it.

i am having this issue with 2 of my sites, not receiving the linked in company confirmation e-mail. The spam folder is disabled in both of my e-mails and still i don’t get the e-mail from linked in. I need help thank you. And yes i been reading around and quite a few people experience this and are ignored.

@cristooo
Regardless of whether or not you have your spam disabled, there are filters on the server that will flag/bounce messages prior to reaching your mailbox. We would need the details on one of the bounces to determine the issue.
