I have two Window 7 machines running Outlook 2007. I too, have deleted the email accounts and set them back up, and continue to get the TCP/IP Error:
imap 0X800CCCOF – Cannot connect to Server. Please help us Outlook users fix this problem. It has been an intermittent problem for about two weeks or more.

I just got this email. I think Godaddy may be on the right track now.
Currently we are aware of this issue and working on resolving it.  Unfortunately we do not have a specific ETA to provide for when this will be fixed.

Looks like they’ve marked it resolved, and at least two of my users are working now… I’ll report back if anything goes south again, but I think they may have gotten it… Wonder what the problem was…

Same problem – Outlook 2010. Just started about 4 hours ago.

Also get “Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: Fatal error: Did NOT to connect to an internal server.: No route to host”

Got to love the grammar in the error message!

The TCP/IP issue appears to be resolved now.
@Baillee (since you seem to have had our voice the most) – not to put too fine a point on it but many of us are paying not only for email, but for IMAP email – which has been unavailable for a week. I know the PR says webmail was still available, but that’s not where we work. Our contacts, calendars and half our other business is conducted via Outlook since we have multiple email accounts. The fact that some corruption and duplication of messages had to be corrected is another thing.
Then there is the issue of us semi-intelligent, semi-IT people being treated like morons when we call for tech support…

So my question remains: When can we expect to see a credit on our accounts for this service interruption?

Doesn’t look fixed to me. I still got “Your IMAP server wants to alert you to the following: Fatal error: Did NOT to connect to an internal server” when I opened Outlook this morning, although it did download email and open the IMAP folder. However, when I tried to copy files out of the IMAP account to separatate folders (because, frankly, I’m not sure I trust this crap anymore), I got the same old “TCP/IP Connection refused by client” message.

This has been happening on and off since we started using the Go Daddy product. I have two other users using different ISPs in different locations and experiencing the same problems. I called support yesterday. After checking my Outlook settings I was told the problem was on my end; either my ISP or Outlook.

We have issues primarily with sending email, opening folders and moving files to folders.

I am using Windows 7 with Outlook 2007.

Please help!

There still seems to be an issue with IMAP. I just had connection error at 10:55am central time on 3/6/2012.

I use thunderbird 10 and received IMAP failed to establish connection.

@fimble15

This issue seems unrelated. Are you receiving the error stated in the following thread:

http://support.godaddy.com/groups/email/forum/topic/your-imap-server-wants-to-alert-you-to-the-following-fatal-error/

If so, please post on that thread so that we may keep similar issues together.

Thanks!

Me too. Exactly the same problem on a desktop and laptop both of which had been working for a long time with no problem. Reached out to Godaddy support and they replied that this issue has been fixed but I can’t test it until later today.

So it must have been a server side issue. Since I am a geek, I would love to know the details of what was broken. Hopefully someone in the know can post them. Sniffing on my machines I saw that the SSL session was indeed dropping but I didn’t have time to figure out WHY they were dropping.

@neilk

Please let us know if you’re still having an issue when you are able to check this.

Thanks!

Not fixed on the ASIA imap/smtpout servers:
imap.asia.secureserver.net
smtpout.asia.secureserver.net

Can you check that you make the fix there as well because my outlook is down with exactly the same IMAP problems as above.
