Second Domain, Second email?
sambo said 3 years ago:
I have a deluxe hosting account, with a primary domain and email. Example: http://www.sambo.com with a email sam@sambo.com. I’ve just added a second domain to the same hosting account. I was wondering if I get a second email address? Example:www.obmas.com as a second domain. Can I get an email such as mas@obmas.com as well as my first (sam@sambo.com)? How do I set it up?
Thanks!

@Sambo,
Depends on how many addresses are available in your email plan.
After you log into your GoDaddy.com account, go to the “My Account” page. You should see in the left hand navigation, under “My Products” an “Email” link. Click that.
In the central body section you will see how many email plans you currently have available to manage. If you see you have 1+ plans that have 1+ “boxes” then you can definitely setup another address for the @obmas.com account (provided have haven’t used up all the addresses for other accounts).
You can have addresses for different domains within the same email plan.
Now, look just above the section that lists your email plans. Do you see a link that reads “Use Credit” in relation to “Free email with Hosting” or “Free email with Domain” ? If so, you can use that credit to activate another email plan, in which you can setup your @obmas.com address.
If you do not see that link, check the left side under “My Products” and see if you have a “Free Products” link. If so, look to see how many “Email Account List” credits you have. If you have 1+, then you can activate one of your free email plans that way.
Alas, after you have explored all these possibilities if you do not have any more addresses available on your existing plan… and you do not have any unused email plan credits… then in order to create another email plan you will need to purchase a new, or upgrade your existing plan for more users.
Hope this helps!

@Sambo,
Login to your GoDaddy.com account and go to the “My Account” page. Under “My Products” on the left side click the “Email” link.
In the central section of the page you will see your existing email plans. If your plan has more than one box available, then you can setup your other email address within that same plan. *Even though it is for the obmas.com domain!
If you do not have anymore boxes available within that plan, it is possible you have credit(s) for another email plan.
On the same page, just above where your email plan is listed, do you see a link “Use Credit” associated with “Free Email…” ? If so, click that link and activate another email plan, and setup your address within that plan.
Another way to check if you have credits for free email products is to click the link “Free Products” under the “My Products” heading on the left. Look for “Email Account List” and see how many credits you have. If you do not have any free credits available, and you do not have anymore boxes available within your existing plan, then you will need to either purchase a new plan, or upgrade your existing plan to allow more users.
