yeah, i know, this topic is way worn out.
i have a godaddy accnt. i can access mydomain.com email via browser fine. MX records appear ok.
i use the win email client TheBat. it isn’t any different than any other pop.smtp win client. all gmail accounts work just fine from it. and i can receive pop from godaddy with it, just cant sent.
tried all the ports listed, and ssl, and various auth methods. no go.
now, i can pay for a dynDNS account and sure enough smtp from my win client for godaddy will work. i don’t mind using the web interface its just perplexing this error comes up with godaddy domain and no other email servers i use.

@wb
Does this issue only occur when connected to Cox’s network? If you are not sure I would advise trying to test it on another network if possible. If you can provide the error we may be able to do some research on it and provide further assistance. If the error contains email addresses please replace them with generic values or omit them. Thanks!
