@carlospereira,

The error indicates you are over your daily limit of 250 emails through our SMTP relay services. If you need to send more messages then this a day, you either need to send the remainder of your messages through the web mail interface or add additional relays to be applied to your email address.

Number of Addresses — Web-Based Email does not limit the total number of messages you can send per day; however, there is a limit of 100 addresses on a single email message. The 100 addresses may be included in any combination of the To, CC, and BCC fields. If there are more than 100 total addresses, the Compose window shows an error and the message is not sent. You must revise the recipient list and then resend your message.

@carlospereira,

Correct. Web-Based Email does not have a set limit on the total number of messages you can spend per day. However, if you are using our SMTP relay services for use with third party email clients such as Outlook, each address has a default limit of 250 relays per day.

Was the Limit error you were getting being generated from a third party email client?

I use “SmartSerialMail” to send our newsletter, this messages come from this mail programm.

How can I send mails without this limit? Our newsletter are for our customers and have “unsubscribe” possibility, this is not spam and our database is registered under the portuguese law.

please help this is very important to our company.

@carlospereira,

If you need more than 250 relays per day for a single email account, you can add additional relay packages which come with 50 relays per day per package. Note that the most you will be able to add is 10 relay packages.

Managing Your Email Account SMTP Relays

If you need more relays than this, you may want to consider the use of our Hosted Exchange Plans which do not have a daily limit on SMTP Relays.

I have a question regarding this. I have 4 email addresses, each with 250 relays per day. However, only one of these email addresses is used frequently. Can i reduce the number of relays allowed on the other three accounts and bump up the relays on the account that is used more frequently?

I sent out about 200 e-mails yesterday, not all in one, but each e-mail had about 50-60 recipients. I had 300 total addresses I needed to send, and was not able to send the last 100 e-mails. In fact today, the next day, I am unable to send even a single e-mail with ONE recipient – the error continues to come up “…over your daily limit…”
Does my account need to be re-set??? I urgently need to respond to some e-mails
