@marcopolo1,
If you are attempting to setup an email forwarding account for an address that has already been setup as a regular email account it cannot be done. The Email address will first need to be removed before you can setup the address to act as a forwarding account.

How do I remove the email address?
chrisg said 1 year ago:
@raj_gopal,
Removal of the address can be done from within your Email Control Center interface where your current list of email addresses you have setup are displayed. You should see a section marked ‘Actions’ which provides buttons. One of which is a red circle ‘x’ icon for deleting the address from your list.
Deleting the address removes the ‘Used’ credit and makes it ‘Available’ again for setup towards another address.

Hi Christopher, I’m getting this error message, but there are no forwarding accounts to be deleted. I only have 2 email accounts defined, and neither of them point to the address I want to forward to. This is freakishly complicated.
chrisg said 9 months, 2 weeks ago:
@redfernvan,
Is the forwarding you are trying to define already setup as a regular email account. Since you mentioned 2 email addresses already being setup, if you were trying to setup one of these addresses as a forwarding account also, it would not be possible.
If you would prefer the email address to forward to another account, it will need to be removed from being a regular Email account first before you can set it up as an Email Forwarding account.

i want to forward every email I receive at Go Daddy to another email address. I don’t see an option for that. Am I missing something? Can it be done?

@gcg,
You will want to refer to the information provided in the following article to setup an email forwarding account:

I am also getting this error but I only have 1 email account. what could be the error? i need to forward my godaddy emails to my gmail acct.
thanks

@tnlmc,
As I previously mentioned in this thread; if you are attempting to setup a forwarding email address for an account that was already setup as a regular email address, the email address first needs to be removed before you can recreate it as a forwarding account.

People… I have an email address at godaddy that I use to send out emails on the regular. I do not want to check this email box so I am trying to set-up a forwarding on this email so that if anyone replies to the email I just sent, it would come to my primary email box.
This is the question that everyone seems to have but they can’t seem to as it correctly.

@chris1234567,
I have actually addressed this exact issue multiple times in this thread. If you have an email address setup as a regular mailbox account, it cannot be setup as an email forwarding account till it has first been removed from the regular email address mailbox you have setup. Once it is removed, you can then create an email forwarding account from the instructions I previously referenced in the article link above.
An email forwarding account will automatically direct all received messages to the email address you specify during it’s setup. This will not store messages in a separate mailbox that you would have to check periodically.

Hi,
It took me quite a while to work this out but now that I have I still have one question – is it possible to access an email from the workspace AND have it forwarded?
Thanks,
Ethan.
