Unable to use godaddy server settings in Quickbooks

i have a problem: when i use a verizon.net account to send out quickbooks invoices it works. if i use a godaddy e-mail account (i have my own domain with godaddy) quickbooks is unable to send the invoices using the godaddy outgoing mail server settings.
I’m using Quickbooks 2011. It’s not a Quickbooks problem because I can use non-godaddy e-mail server settings.

What settings are you using? Make sure you’re using this as your outgoing server:
on port 80 without authentication.
Hope this helps!

Just an update for those with this issue. I’m using Quickbooks Premier 2013, and the post from “nonboard” recommending to use port 3535 worked for me.

Similar issues. Quickbooks Pro 2011 on Windows 7. Port 3535 and uncheck ssl solved it for me. Thanks for your help.
