I purchased an old domain and now i want to activate the WHOIS protection but can’t find the option anywhere… i guess it’s because i don’t have the domain yet (even though i won the auction).

is it possible to activate the private WHOIS before receiving/activating my newly won domain?

thanks

Yes, it is possible to enable private registration when you purchase an expired domain from the Go Daddy Auctions. This article will show you how:

Purchasing Domain Names You Won

If you’ve already paid for the domain name, you will have to wait until the domain is added to your account before you will be able to enable private registration.
