No. Not at all. I am not happy with GoDaddy. I want to put my 2 websites in GoDaddy auction. These are:
http://www.beauticianbank.com
http://www.footballphobia.com

Putting them in auction requires membership of Godaddy for $3.99/year. But When I pay money through my Payoneer Master Card, GoDaddy shows an error and does not not accept my payment. As a result, I am unable to put my websites in auction.I cannot pay through Paypal. What should I do?

Hi, Bob. I am a client of Go Daddy. Today (April 18, 2012), I asked your Tech Support Andrew for help (as I have a tiny bit of knowledge for computer) to just tell me how would I transfer my email to my external drive as I have never done it before and my husband who is not here @ the moment normally doing this stuff and it maybe true that I asked Tech Support Andrew something way beyond of what he’s being paid by Go Daddy and I do not really intend or require him to walk me through all the way but I was hoping Tech Support Andrew would just summarize it as in Step 1-2-3 & that’s all I need rather than telling me in condescending way “I have never seen someone who would keep everything and is there something that you could let go or someone there to help you, your friend or family? Because this is way beyond of Go Daddy technical support job stuff” Oh, well…Sometimes our job does not end to our job title description especially when you work in a customer service oriented company. Sadly, people that serve way beyond their duty are few. And maybe Tech Support Andrew is not happy with Go Daddy work environment that he’s not pump up and motivated to make Go Daddy customer. Its really funny that before Tech Support Andrew finishes our conversation he says: “Have a nice day” while he knows in his heart he does not really care about my technical issue and Technical Support Andrew made me feel that people who cannot keep up with the technology are just simply pathetic.

I have found that the customer support people are good and very patient. The email interface is very good and the load speed (so far) seems to be much better than inmotion hosting. 10 email addresses is pretty skimpy, seems to me that they should start you off with 50 or at least 25 for that price.

The only area I don’t like so far is WebSiteTonight… which is a terrible and very frustrating program to use. I had a site 12 years ago using a template-based tool from some other host… it is amazing how WebSiteTonight has only taken 12 years to lower the state of the art so much! If you want to save time, WebSiteTonight is not the tool to use. I wish I had just dusted off the html skills and started from scratch.

But on the whole godaddy seems pretty good.

I am just starting to deal with GoDaddy in any detail.

Just wondering why it is that when I click on the Support buttons, invariably (like 9 times out of 10) the connection times out?

This morning, 5/3/12, I was unable to navigate to the “secureserver” to check our business email. Then I discovered I was unable to navigate to godaddy.com and unable to navigate to the web pages that GoDaddy hosts for our business. When I called technical support, they blamed Comcast saying that Comcast was blocking Comcast users from any GoDaddy related website. I was told that GoDaddy had no idea when it would be able to resolve the issue. When I asked what steps were being taken to resolve the issue with Comcast, my question was ignored and I was told to call Comcast myself. I was told that GoDaddy had received many calls this morning with this issue all from Comcast users. I called Comcast. Comcast technical support said I was the third phone call in the past 10 minutes with the same issue. Comcast technical support stated that they were not blocking GoDaddy, but rather that GoDaddy was blocking Comcast users. Rather than working to resolve a technical issue, the two companies just pointed the finger of blame at each other. It is an unacceptable level of customer support to me to have a technical support representative ignore a direct question. It is an unacceptable level of customer support to take no action to resolve a technical issue other than to blame another company. Both companies should have immediately began to work together to resolve the issue. So, GoDaddy and Comcast, you children need to grow up and stop calling each other names. I am placing both of you in time out until you can learn to play together nicely. There will be no stickers for either of you today. If your bad behavior continues, your next punishment will be more severe. Your corporate culture is apparently that of a toddler having a bad temper tantrum.

GoDaddy is fine… until it’s not.

What’s even worse is the lack of consistent notification on GD’s part to make PAYING CUSTOMERS aware of any situation.

“I’m sorry to report that plans have changed, things got pushed back. Unfortunately, I don’t have a new ETA.” Direct message sent by Go Daddy to you on May 02, 8:19 PM.

Had I not badgered GD via Twitter I would have no idea if the latest ongoing Hosted Exchange Spam Onslaught was even on Support’s To-Do.

I pay GD full price for as close to 100% reliability and availability they offer. How about a rebate for dealing with support for weeks at a time?

I have had some issues getting the right kind of support. Most of the replies from submitting tickets come in the form of a macro reply with general information, sometimes this helps, but other times makes more confusion, and when asking for further assistance on particular feature I CANT figure out they say they can not help. Only give the macro reply again. Other than that major headache, GD is ok.

I am having serious thoughts of running away, after some 3+ years here, over speed issues on my shared hosting. I know it is shared and all, but, to be taking 3.5 seconds for opening a website with just one empty html page on it (50 bytes) is just killing me. I am now shopping for something better then this.
b.t.w., my broadband speed is 100MBit.
