I have updated godaddy website as directed and configured the blogger account correctly. However, my old website seems to continue to be the directed host. I was using Wordpress, but switching to blogspot.

http://www.wawwb.com is the URL
http://www.wawwb.blogspot.com is where i want it to direct to. But it keeps sending to http://www.wawwb.wordpress.com.

Any help is appreciated.

Currently your domain is pointing to the following nameservers:

NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

You will need to update your nameservers to our settings:

Setting Nameservers for Your Domain Names

I guess I dont understand. What is “our settings”. I dont know the blogspot name server, and the tool that is used on via godaddy/blogger supposedly does it for me. Do you have this information?

Sorry about that, in order to point your domain to your Blogger blog (http://www.wawwb.blogspot.com), you will want to set up domain forwarding which will require your domain to use our parked nameservers. Using the steps in the previous article you will select ‘I want to park my domains’. Here is a good article that should walk you through all of the necessary steps to point your domain properly:

Mapping Your Domain Name to Work with Blogger

If you have any other questions, feel free to post them here and I will point you in the right direction.

Yes, now that your nameservers have been updated you will need to add your MX records to point to Google’s settings.

I will wait and see if the dns migration happens tonight. I know it might take time. Just wish it didnt. I have done everything that you have asked, but no changes yet on the domain.

I did update the email info, so It should be ok. Please let me know if you think I missed anything.

And thank you. Feel free to check the site later! Im going to bed!

Hey, just checked out your zone file and you are pretty close to the correct set up. I currently see that your domain has 4 A records (@) to different IP addresses. The correct one to use for your configuration is set as 64.202.189.170, you will just want to remove the other A records so that your domain resolves correctly every time it is requested.

Everything else looks like it should work without issue, let me know if you run into any other issues.
