So I finished transferring my WordPress.com blog (likeakidinacandystore.wordpress.com) over to being hosted on GoDaddy through the WordPress plugin.

It set up my wordpress blog at http://www.likeakidinacandystore.com/wordpress

I want the visitors of my site to be able to access my blog by simply going to http://www.likeakidinacandystore.com

How do I do that? Should I set up domain forwarding? I tried that it gave me an error that says “This website is temporarily unavailable, please try again later.”

Should I be doing redirect or do I just need to let the forwarding wait? It’s been a few hours already and I’m still getting the error.

You should point your domain back to your hosting account. Once done, the following linked article will help you move the WordPress application to the root domain.
