Mysql Database Pending Status (5 hours!)

Today i try to make a new Mysql database is in pending status about 5 hours.

Any cheap hosting, create a mysql database instantly.

Why go daddy takes so long?

5 hours for web master is long waiting time!!!

I’m having the same problem. My database has been pending since yesterday evening.

I submitted a ticket several hours ago, but haven’t heard back.

Crap, me too. I’ve created a new database because I’ve been waiting over 72 hours for GoDaddy to install WordPress for my client and now need to do it myself. I’ve lost three days and many hours on the phone trying to get this fixed.

Sorry to hear that the database installs are taking longer then normal. However, at this time this is a known issue with them taking longer then normal to be added. Rest assured our administrators are working on getting this resolved as quickly as possible for you. You can contact support at http://support.godaddy.com/support for any updates on the issue. However, I would at least give it 24 hours. If it’s longer then that there may be another issue.

@nicholek What kind of a response is that? Just come out and say “We have no idea what is wrong or when/if it will be working again”. It takes less time to read and says the same thing.

While database set up generally only takes a few minutes, please allow up to 24 hours for this to complete. If 24 hours passes and your databases are not set up, please reach out to our Support Team directly for further assistance.

8 Hours have passed away. I wrote an email to support and got the following response

“Dear Qambar,

Thank you for your response. Based on the information provided, you have a concern with the setup of your database *censored*. After reviewing the account, the database has recently been created within the last 8 hours. Database setup may take up to 24 hours to complete. I have verified that no errors have occurred in your current setup and I expect it to complete shortly. If this installation is still pending after more than 24 hours have passed please contact us for further review.

Please let us know if we can assist you in any other way.

My question is same as one of the guy above. Why is it taking so much time for database setup. I just need one logical reason. I had to present a demo 6 hours back to my client on godaddy server and it has been delayed due to database setup. Why is there a variable database setup time ??

I am not happy.

My clients are loosing trust in me same as i am loosing trust in godaddy hosting.

I cant set up databases too but you guys need to calm down, there are certain things that not even Jesus Christ can block.
For sure there is a logic behind it ( ddos attack, syn attack , whatever )

Just be gratefull in my case its been 3 days since my purchase ( host + domain )and still nothing is working properly…
