Mysql Database Pending Status (5 hours!)

Database creation should take at most 1 hour to complete, anything outside of this time frame and any error that you receive will need to be reviewed by our Support Team. They will need to review your specific hosting plan and determine the cause of the errors.

Having the similar issue ..
I cannot logon to an existing MySql database when it is very much needed..
submitting a ticket takes long time to get a reply.
We have already started to move out…

Support incidents can take a few hours to be responded to, our telephone support team has a much faster response time and can also assist with these issues. Unfortunately due to the account specific nature we can not resolve the issue through this support forum.

we’re haveing the same issue.. cant connect to MYSQL..looking for a speedy fix.. has already taken 5 days of waiting by our DEV team.. someone recommended godaddy.. having second thoughts now,,, if this is a recurring problem,,,,i see this problem dates 9 months back…

If you are unable to connect to the database, this is a different issue from the forum topic. I see that you have contacted our support team to have your connectivity tested further, were you able to get this issue resolved with our support team?

I do not show any reports of issues with connectivity on any of our database servers on the day of your post. Were you able to contact our support team to have your specific databases tested?

The domain you provided is currently resolving to a WebSite Tonight site which does not utilize MySQL databases which is the topic for this thread. I was not able to duplicate any issues when access your site, if you continue to receive this error you may want to contact our Support Team to have your specific account reviewed.

FYI folks I don’t know if this will work for you or if what I did even prompted the database installation to complete, but I will tell you what I did and the database install completed right away.

I was furious and was dreading starting a huge long phone tag session with Godaddy. My DB was at 3 hours and still installing. I saw that one of my other applications had an update, so I said screw it, let’s go ahead and update that while the other DB was installing and I will go do the dishes or something. The minute I initiated the update for my other application and the page refreshed, the first DB installation completed. Weird.

Seriously godaddy, over 2 hours to set up a database and ftp users, stuck on pending set-up. that is ridiculous. Very poor hosting services guys.

Glad to hear that your database completed setup after updating another application.

Adding FTP users should take only 10 minutes, while your database can take up to 1 hour to complete. As you are still waiting on these to be processed, I would advise you to contact our Support Team to review and resolve the issue for you.
