Perfect Match Super Bowl Ad

Wow,
I admit as pretty as Danica Patrick is I was getting tired of seeing her in the Super Bowl ad’s for so long kinda over played her I thought. But after seeing “Perfect Match” I beg you to feature Danica as often as you wish PLEASE! lol
I love Go Daddy and all you do for me and the community so don’t get me wrong but that “Perfect Match” Super Bowl ad has got to be the worst ad I have seen from Go Daddy ever, I would not be shocked if it received the Worst Super Bowl Commercial Award this year, please pull that ad and tell me that was not the best Go Daddy could come up with ?
Am I the only one that feels that is the worst ad ever ? To make it worse they boosted the audio of the kissing and it was just sickening. As much as I love my Go Daddy services and the awesome support, my admiration could not survive viewing that ad again, so please pull it and don’t do that again. G.D. staff promise me dang it, promise me you will never do that again!
Sincerely,
Lawrence S. (Go Daddy Enthusiast)

@lawrence_shime
Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about our Super Bowl ad. Go Daddy respects feedback, even critical opinions and I’ll be sure to pass them along to our marketing department.
Did you get a chance to see our other commercial? What did you think?

I’ve been a Go Daddy customer for many years but that ended tonight after seeing the Go Daddy Super Bowl commercial. It was in very poor taste and unprofessional.

As a customer and (PAST) frequent endorser of the wonderful service you provide the Perfect Match advertisement during the Super Bowl was an embarrassment. Fire the ad firm. Going forward I will go elsewhere for hosting and will let my current hosting accounts expire.

I came here to say exactly what Randy just said. I’ve been with Go Daddy for YEARS and have endured the horrific ads you’ve featured the past several years. It seems each time you are going for shock value and hoping the buzz about it somehow converts to actual sales. However, last night’s ad was the final straw for me. It was so offensive and over-the-top that — thankfully — the buzz you’re receiving now is so bad, you are even hemorrhaging customers.
I realize that there will be costs involved for me to transfer all the domains I have with GoDaddy to another registrar, but I am willing to pay those costs to no longer be associated with a company insistent on pushing such cringe-worthy commercials. I mean, it’s gotten to the point that, if someone asked me who I have my domains registered with, I’d be embarrassed to say “GoDaddy.com.”

That ad was insulting and will cause me to stop advising my friends to use GoDaddy. Yech! What were they thinking???

I thought the commercial was hilarious! You people that think it’s embarrassing or whatever need to lighten up! I literally guffawed! Good stuff! It did what it was supposed to do – make you remember the ad!

How is it helpful to show an IT guy as about the crappiest, nerdiest guy you could find? Many of us that manage lots of domains and sites are regular IT folks, happily coding away and supporting a large industry. You pick a horrible, horrible stereotype in hopes of what? Saying the supermodel is stupid as well? Then the sickening amount of time you showed the kiss. Bad, bad, bad ad all around.
