I received an email claiming to be from GoDaddy indicating that my hosting account will be moved to a new server and to change my IP address and “A Record”. The IP I am to change my account to is: 72.167.131.2. I did NOT follow through with any of these changes.

The email headers and the IP address – which I did a reverse whois on looked phishy, so I am reporting this information to you for further investigation and a warning to other customers to beware.
