redirect help

Hi,
Can’t get help from support on the particulars of redirecting using the url redirect feature.
my site is a worpress site. so its http://www.mysite.com/word press. I need it set so when people go to http://www.mysite.com it sends them to the wordpress. I can get it to do that. But if i put in http://www.mysite.com/anotherpage/ it redirects again to the wordpress.
I am lost.

Depending on how the URL redirect was setup it may do this. If you setup the redirect with a content redirect option of ‘Match Path,’ it will attempting to complete the redirect and match the path. Based on what you are describing, you would want to select the content redirect option of ‘No Redirect.’ You can review the following link for more information on how the content redirect options work.
