Refund details if name is not available for registration

It sounds as though you’re referring to a domain backorder. The backorder would stay active as long as the domain is not registered to your account. If the domain in question were to keep being renewed, then the domain name backorder would simply keep tracking that domain name. However, if you find that you would want to cancel the backorder, you would be able to receive a refund.
