As far as your hosting goes, if you are using a hosting account that supports Wordpress, there shouldn’t be an issue with supporting a Joomla website as well.

Now if you are hoping to migrate your content from Wordpress to Joomla, this may be more of an issue as these are two different Content Management Systems. I’m not aware of any tools that will convert this content for you.

You may want to dig around on the Joomla forums to see if there is anyone who has attempted this:
