Why can’t I use the gooddeal promo code

I am trying to register a new domain with the gooddeal promo code which was displayed on Godaddy’s website yesterday and again today. When I get to the cart, it says the promo offer is invalid. Why would one part of your website know that an offer is invalid and another part still advertise the offer? I want that offer. This is bait and switch to advertise one offer to get me through the door and then tell me that I can’t use the offer that got me through the door. You’re wasting my time.

I know that there are codes that have expiration’s or other criteria that may affect the discount. I would recommend contacting billing@godaddy.com to have the code reviewed. I am sure that they will have similar discounts for you to use for the registration.
