I recently installed Drupal 7.10 thru Godaddy but immediately get notified to update it to 7.12, Godaddy tech support said I was on my own because they didn’t support Drupal updates. When I follow the updated guidelines included with the update I get a Internal Server error, any suggestions or hints

We try to roll out updates to our Hosting Connection applications as soon as possible, but we do like to test them and make sure they work first. I’d be happy to see if I can help with this though, can you provide your domain name so I can take a look please?

Thanks!

I finally got tired of trying to make it work and uninstalled it, even with 7.10 it wouldn’t let me upload any photos. http://www.theaffilatehound.net

You completely uninstalled the application, or just rolled back the update? When I visit http://www.theaffilatehound.net, I receive an error that indicates you don’t have an index page for the site.

We are always looking to offer the most up-to-date versions of our Hosting Connection applications. I’d be happy to pass along the suggestion for Drupal 7.12.

Thanks!

I only had partial success with 7.10 to 7.12 update. Basically failure as the site isn’t working now :( – I even involved the themer but he hasn’t gotten back to me yet. Was wondering if anyone has a 7.12 functional core running on Godaddy. Please assist…

Any updates on whether there will be an update soon? I have to turn sites over to users and I don’t fancy the idea of giving them a site that has an update warning blaring every time they access the admin pages. Thanks in advance.

Any updates on this? I am planning to port multiple client sites over to my GD account but they involve modules that require Drupal Core > 7.10.

I uploaded the 7.10 had it crash when I tried to update it, so I canceled that account and signed up again. I’m trying to work with it sans the update, but it’s not very friendly about it and I keep getting emails to update to 7.12 every couple of days. I’ll try using 7.10 a couple more days and if it doesn’t work out, I’ll quit trying and cancel it for good.
