Everytime I install either a DotNetNuke or Blogengine.net app through the Hosting Connections, I consistantly get an Error 500 page.

Can someone help me understand this?

The issue you are experiencing usually stems from one or two situations. You many need to switch your IIS pipeline mode from Classic to Integrated. If that is not the problem, you may want to contact our support team and suggest you need your hosting plan root directory permissions fixed.
