If I install Wordpress plugin can I keep my website?

My client likes their website but I would like to add a blog. I have used wordpress before and would personally prefer to manage the site through wordpress but I did not build her site and don’t want to rebuild the whole thing. It says the plugin is compatible with with our domain, is there an easy way to migrate it over without losing much (or anything)?

Yes you would be able to keep the site and install Wordpress for the separate Blog. One way of accomplishing this would be to add a SubDomain ssuch as “blog’ to the Hosting account and then install Wordpress to the SubDomain.
