Wordpress installed correctly, can’t get to admin or site?

I’m new to the whole hosted website thing, I’ve only dealt with free blogs so far. I set up my domain, hosting, etc. and installed wordpress. GoDaddy says that Wordpress installed correctly and gives me the url for the site and the admin page, but I can’t get either one of them to come up. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I am having the same problems but with my Joomla application. It says its installed and provides the administrator url link for me to begin working my magic, however it fizzles out when I click the link. I get the lovely “oops” message in my browser.

@jhuckabay & @bgagetsd
What are the domain names associated with your account? I would like to test the error.

Same here. Wordpress installed correctly, can’t get to admin or site.
I just get the parked domain page. I tried to unpark it by setting the nameservers which are hosted by Godaddy

@jhuckabay
Sorry for the delay in a response. I am able to access the admin directly and through the link on your homepage. Are you still having issues?

@studio35photo
what is the TLD associated with your domain(.com, .net)?
@erica99
What is the domain associated with the account? If you are on a parked page, simply point the A record to the IP address of your hosting account.
Locate hosting IP address:

@trisaw
It looks like your domain is resolving to an InstantPage account. You will want to cancel the InstantPage account, then using the instructions above, point the A record for your domain to the IP address of the hosting account.

My issue is now resolved. Thank you. As it turns out, I had managed to set up hosting and install wordpress without registering a domain name.
Never try to work your new website on zero coffee.

I’m having the same issue as johnces7. My wp website is http://sunflowernbutterflies.com.

@johnces7
It appears that you have resolved the issue you were facing. If we can be of further assistance, let us know.
@chenault
It looks like the domain sunflowernbutterflies.com is available for registration. Is it possible the domain is misspelled or incomplete?
