The Mobile team wants your detailed feedback on our iPhone application!
Having an issue? We want to fix it. Tell us the details of your problem, and remember that the more details you give us, the easier it will be for us to recreate and fix. Things like ‘What version of the application are you using?’, and ‘What were you doing when you encountered the problem?’ are key pieces of information for us.
Want to see an additional feature? Tell us! We’re constantly working on new features but your feedback helps us prioritize.
Have an idea to make it better? We absolutely want to hear about it!
The Go Daddy Mobile team strives to meet your needs, improve your customer experience, and provide a 5-star application!

Hi, I´v got the GoDaddy app for iphone and just noticed that no notification is coming up if new email received. How can I changes the settings, so that the app advice me with a globe or alert, when a new mail is coming in? Something similar like the installed iphone mail app.
Thks for short answer

@cbalcaen,
Currently, it is not possible to set a notification within the iPhone application that will notify of new messages received. About the only setting related to new messages received is to set the phone to vibrate while actively using the application.
I will forward a request for mail notifications to be considered in our future updates.

@cbalcaen
Thank you for the request. We apologize that this isn’t available currently. The development team will be working on this feature for a future release.

Can you give a timeframe for this?
Currently Godaddy appears in the notification centre, if it doesn’t use them, why does it show up here. Also wasn’t there a note in the last update to say this was now working?
Thanks
Michael

Hi Mick1234,
I apologize for the delay in implementing this functionality, but I’m afraid I cannot provide a timeframe for legal reasons. I can say that we’re working very hard on mail push notifications and will release it as soon as we possibly can.
Yes, the Go Daddy app does appear in the notification center because all applications that register as push messaging authors automatically appear there. We did this in our last major build to lay the framework for this functionality.
Thank you for your continued patience and for being a Go Daddy customer.

Are there any settings for push notifications? Or alerts? If I am bidding on a domain name auction, I’d like to receive a notification if/when I’m outbid by someone else. (like ebay does). Is this possible right now? It would be helpful. And I guess you can see the bidding amounts ($) in the app, but not online in your account? What’s up with this? Help.

Hi bporter238,
I have to apologize for the delay here, but I assure you that push notifications are coming. Part of our initial release will also include outbid notices for auctions.
I’m not sure I follow what you meant by not being able to see the bid amounts online in your account. Do you mean the mobile ‘My Auctions’ section?
Thanks,
-cb

Isthere a way to delete alerts from the iPhone app. I have 5 notifications for domain renewals which I don’t want to renew but it is really frustrating when I can’t delete the alert.
cb said 5 months, 4 weeks ago:
Hi richv100,
Yes, you can turn off the app badge (that number in the red circle that appears on the app icon) by opening the app and tapping ‘More’ in the bottom menu, then ‘Settings’. On the settings page, change ‘App Badge’ to ‘Off’.
Sorry about the delay, and thank you for using our app.

I just imported over 300 contacts into my WorkSpace Email Contact list. They show up perfect on a regular PC/MAC, with Nickname, First Name, Last Name, Email, etc.. But in the mobile app, only First Name, Last Name and Email show up. Is there a way to have the Nickname show up on the mobile app? I ask because this is how I organize all the contacts.
cb said 5 months, 3 weeks ago:
Hi oraange,
Thanks for your feedback. There are two issues I see with fulfilling your request. First, Mobile Workspace doesn’t currently support nickname. Second, the display of contacts is auto-sorted by email address and there is no way currently to change that sort.
Can you tell me a little bit more about your intended implementation? Are you trying to look up contacts in your list by nickname, or type the nickname into an email you are composing so that they all appear and can be easily selected?

Nothing on my mobile site is in sync with my main site. I cant add, edit or remove anything in the navigation menu. I have a few pages on my mobile site that dont exist on my main site.
chrisg said 5 months, 2 weeks ago:
@john212,
I believe your inquiry is in regard to our Mobile Page designer for Website Builder, and not the iPhone Go Daddy application this topic is on. If you are still having issues with syncing your Mobile pages with your Desktop pages, you may want to repost this inquiry to our Website Builder forums where it can be better addressed.

I have not been able to receive notifications of incoming mail on my Android device, nor on an iPhone, even though “Enable Notifications” and “Use Native Mail” within the settings ARE selected. This thread sounds like it possibly never was working, but is that true? If not, let me know how I can get the notifications to work. Thank you so much!
