I am on the Sprint Motorola XPRT Android phone and I do not receive emails for at least 15 minutes or longer. Is there a way to get them faster like the Blackberry?

@spetersen,

You may want to check your phone to see if there is a setting on the phone to tell it when to check the mail servers for new messages. You may want to check out information in their user manual for more information. I’ve included a link to it below:

I think I have already tried that option. In the “Email and Corporate Sync” folder under “Data Push” I do have that checked. I have also set the “Fetch Schedule” to every 15 minutes (which I believe this is a back up to the “Data Push” option). But emails are still taking 15 minutes or longer to come to me. My goal is to get them as fast (if not close to) that of the Blackberry. Are there any other options?

@spetersen,

I could not say if there is another option to help improve the speed your messages are being pulled through in your device.

This is a question that might better addressed through your Mobile Service provider or through the developer of the device you are using. The link previously provided by @mike42 would be the most information we have available from this end.
