I bought two ssl cerficates at godaddy.

Only the first one in httpd-ssl.conf works.
The other returns:

The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website’s address.

I need to have multiple website domains secured.

@west99,

Can you provide the URL that you are having the issues with so we can review the issue as well? Can you also provide the steps you’ve taken to reach this point?

Not really, the ms agent replies with:

“The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website’s address.

Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server. “

Firefox and chrome accept it as it is, but it isn’t correct ofcourse.

Domain vm05.trendesign.nl is issued to facebook.humphreys.nl by Go Daddy Certification Authority.

According to Apache 2.2.22, Server Name Indication (SNI) is the solution. For this a need a wildcard SSL certificate, or a certificate that has multple hostnames on it using subjectAltName fields. Is this possible with a Go-Daddy Certificate setting?

We do offer Wildcard certificates, and UCC certificates, which have the ability to add/drop SAN’s. You can check them out here:

But is it necessary? Can’t we just buy serveral ssl certificates and used it on one server?

@west99

Were you able to get everything sorted out with your SSL certificates?
