Can SSL free with hosting be used with other than primary domain

In the shared hosting environment you would be able to have 1 SSL per 1 hosting account. If you needed to secure multiple domains in the same hosting account they would need to be covered by the same SSL, this can be done with a single “Multiple Domains” UCC SSL certificate.

Nate D is correct. You can not secure a secondary or alias domain in the shared hosting environment using a Single Standard SSL. You would need to purchase a UCC SSL instead and the secondary name would be a Subject Alternative Name (SAN) on that certificate.
