Changing site seal image
ISICC said 2 years, 3 months ago:
Hi,
Our site has an SSL certificate from GoDaddy and I would like to display a verification “Site Seal” on our online pages. The problem is that when I go to the “Site Seal” code generator in my SSL management screen, it only gives me one (pretty lame) type of site seal image.
I have seen much better versions of the site seal around the internet. My question: is there any way to choose which image to use for the site seal? I haven’t been able to find any discussion of this anywhere online.
Thanks in advance!

@ISICC
There is currently only one option for the site seal.
This is what it would look like:

@ISICC – Yes, there has been many SSL site seals over the years. But the one you get depends on when you purchased the certificate. Though it would be nice if you could actually choose, heck they were already made.

@christianh and @Nate_D:
Thanks for the replies! I guess I’m stuck with the seal that I got. Unfortunately, it is not the one Christian posted in the link (I wish it was). This is the one we have to display:

(not the slickest graphic in the drawer)

@ISICC – Yes pretty lame, but be happy it’s not:

(use your imagination, it should be about the size of the one you posted)
Remember any new certificate features the new site seal

That image says, “When you’re Verified by Starfield Secure, you’re verified by a 5 year-old” ![]()

Oh, it looks worse scaled down. Maybe 2 year old quality.
