New and Old Certificate

We have multiple domain certificate installed on our server. It will be expired in 20 days. So we got new wildcard.
If we will do the request in Godaddy backend, and will start to manipulate with new certificate, will that affect old one? Another words can they both exists and do not conflict with or exclude each other?

If the certificates are in the same account, you can have both. Once you install the new certificate on the server though, it will remove the old certificate.
