OK I have bought a UCC SSL for up to 5 domains. And the certificate for http://www.mysite.com was approved and already functioning. Then I went to add a subdomain and another site I won http://www.mysite.org. I’ve received the emails to approve both domains and its been about 24 hours since I clicked on the link and approved them both. Now in “Subject Alternative Names (2/4)” section it shows names of both of those domains and green dots (Approved) but Request Progress is still Pending. When I click on “Whats the holdup” I see “Awaiting approval by domain name registrant and/or administrative contact.” message however both of them were approved already. If I try to go back to https://certs.godaddy.com/anonymous/domainapproval.seam and enter the verification key I see the following message “A Certificate Signing Request (CSR) has been submitted.

You have reached this page without a valid Verification Key. This is typically due to a formatting error in your e-mail client.

Please enter in the Verification Key as it appears in your e-mail message.”

And it keeps repeating if I enter the key manually.

@iepshteyn

Are these still pending at this time? If you’ve already approved them through email, you may need to contact our Support Team to make sure the certificate isn’t stuck.

Keep us updated on this!

@irakli

It looks like that SSL is current. Were you able to get it installed okay?

@michmo,

That is account specific information you may want to reach out to our SSL support team for further assistance with. You should be able to reach them through ra@godaddy.com or contact them by phone at (480) 505-8852.

I don’t see SSL certificate credit in my account yet. Status:Initialize SSL Certificate. Any idea how long does it take?

@sar_lmw,

Was this a recently purchased or setup certificate? If the credit was just purchased it should be available within moments, if not immediately, after your purchase.

If you are referring to a credit that has been setup, keep in mind that the request needs to be reviewed and issued by our SSL team before the certificate is made active in your account. The time for approval can vary depending on the type of SSL credit being setup.

“Our auto-check recognized copyrighted, trademarked, or phishing-related words in the distinguished name. Please allow 2-24 hours for us to manually review your domain authorization. If we require more information, we’ll notify you by email.”

Is it possible to determine what the word held it up and why it is related to phishing? Aside from my own name, the only additional part is “ssl” ie. ssl.myname.ca — I believe since it is my name, I should know what caught it in the filter…

Is this commone?

@phisher,

Unfortunately, this is information I would not be able to properly address over an open forum. If you have not done so already, I would recommend reaching out to our SSL team at ra@godaddy.com or at (480) 505-8852 as they would be better able to address these concerns.

All you need to do is remove privacy on domain, through the domainsbyProxy website then call the SSL team and have them submit the request again. Within minutes you will receive an email link to approve request and you will be good to go…

@coldleopard,

A helpful tip for those who may have privacy on their domains. Thanks for taking a moment to bring this up.
