Hi

I’ve bought an SSL certificate and it says to paste the code into my website. I have no knowledge of code. It’s an off-the-peg template which will pretty much void my guarantee the minute I start meddling with it. Can anyone help? And when it’s pasted in will that activate it?

An SSL is installed on the server, so any pages you have will be protected when navigating to https. As for the badge to put on your site, it will need to be added within the body of the pages. If the template was created for you, you may seek the advice of the creator.
