Porting an IMAP email account to Hosted Exchange

My domain is registered with GoDaddy and they host my IMAP email account. Today, I purchased a Hosted Exchange Account from GoDaddy and want to convert my IMAP email address to the Exchange service. Is this as simple as selecting the domain during mailbox setup and then updating the MX and DNS? I did that this morning and 12 hours later it is still listed as “Setup” and “Pending” in the Organization and email setup screens. I’m not too knowledgeable about these technical matters, so I wonder if the 12 hour wait is normal and that I have set up the accounts properly.
Can anybody comment? Thanks!

@johnread To move an email address from a regular email account to Exchange, you’ll need to use these steps:

If the email remains in a pending status, I’d recommend contacting our live support team so that we can investigate further.
