I’m just beginning to come into PHP. I’ve created an online petition and would like to have the information from the various fields, Name, Address, etc. to end up in one of my domain folders for later retrieval. I have the forms made and PHP initialized. I was hoping someone could point me in the direction of a set of files to upload or scripts to write to accomplish this. I was looking at formmail solutions but generating emails isn’t what I want to do. I had hoped I could have the information downloaded into a CSV of TXT file. I can’t get seem to locate any specific info. Thanks

@Middie,

As this a scripting related inquiry for your live website, you may want to re-post this to our Web Hosting forums instead of Merchant Accounts. That way other community members in Web Hosting who are more knowledgeable in scripting may be able provide a suggestion on this endeavor.

Unfortunately, we do not have any specific documentation we can refer to on how to setup a form submission to write to a file instead of an outgoing email. If no other community members respond to provide a suggestion, you may want to refer to your preferred search engine for an online tutorial or scripting related forum for further resolution.

Thanks Chris. “New to this” seems to be my key words around here. I’ll repost this in a more general forum.

Thanks for taking your time with this.
