The new Google Merchant Center rules
SRHC said 1 year, 8 months ago:
I am sure everyone is aware of the new policies required by Google Merchant Center that will be required later this month. Has anyone been able to accurately and correctly include the attribute using the xml style of attribute tree? If so please let me know the exact steps from what to paste and what to name the attribute in quick shopping cart. We tried calling the attribute google and then pasting the xml coding into it but still showing as error with google merchant center. Any advice would be most appreciated. Thank you.

I’m not actually familiar with those requirements. Can you link to the new requirements? With that information we can try to help you get this working.
Thanks for posting!

The new policy changes regarding the Google Merchant Center can be found at – http://base-forum-announcements.blogspot.com/2011/07/weve-made-changes-to-google-product.html – For out site, it is only recommendations, however Google has said that by not following their recommendations will not have our products removed, however may have them show up less often. It is my hope that GoDaddy is aware of this issue and is about to incorporate it into a new update of Quick Shopping Cart to allow us customers to become compliant with Google’s new policies as it regards Google Merchant Center. Thank you.
