I’ve spent many nights the last few days trying to figure out how to get my web account to host my Adobe Bridge CS4 web gallery. I created the gallery in Bridge, then plug it into Dreamweaver where it previews in Safari and Firefox as working, but when I put the site up, it doesn’t appear. The website extension does, but the flash style gallery does not. I’ve searched on forums everywhere, followed insanely complicated codes, and still have had no success. One forum suggested changing the permissions on my site to allow the gallery to be displayed. The number 750 was thrown around. I’m self-taught on all of this, which has been my downfall, so I’m not sure of lingo or what changing permissions even means. Has anyone else encountered this issue and been able to resolve it? If so, do you mind sharing with me what you did? Thank you so much.

@jenflip

I am not familiar with this specific software. Is there an error that you are getting when you view the page or it is just not displaying? Do you have a URL where we can see where this is occurring? The more information that you can provide, the easier it will be for others with more experience with this to help you.

Before it was just not displaying but now I’m getting an actual error message. Here is the link with the message that displays:

Thank you so much for your help. I’m really stubbed at this point. Also, is there another free web gallery alternative that you like that’s easy to use?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I went to the provided URL and I am receiving a 404 page, which usually indicates that the file does not exist in the specified location. If you do actually have a file there, you would need to review the scripting of the file to ensure that it is valid. Unfortunately, I do not have another web gallery alternative that I can provide. Hopefully other members of the Community have additional suggestions for you.

So I have a website hosted through godaddy, my website is http://www.meganmack.com and http://www.meganmackphotography.com, they are linked together. I was wondering if it is possible to set up a Adobe Bridge CS5 web gallery through my IP address or if I need to purchase another specifically for web galleries?

I think you are asking if you can upload your web gallery made with Adobe Bridge CS5 to your existing website or if you need to purchase a new hosting plan. From what I’ve read on the service, you can easily FTP your gallery to your existing hosting plan directly from the application. If you need to confirm your FTP settings, you can use this article:
