Hi, i’m using Online file folders and see you can’t sign up for the Photo Album without signing up for the Website builder package. Is this intentional or a mistake?

The link on the Godaddy under the menu “Websites” -> “Photo Album” is : http://www.godaddy.com/photo/online-photo-album.aspx

It will revert back to Website builder.

You can still however sign up for Video.ME seperately, so it’s rather strange.

I don’t need the website builder, i only want to use the gallery functionality combined with Online file folder [a feature that is built into most online storage services these days, mind you] .

EDIT: I’ve found i can still get to the photo album seperate sign-up if i go via the “Free Products” and use a credit there for Photo Album and then UPGRADE that, which is a much more suitable price. I just find it strange that GoDaddy is hiding this in some deep dark corner……?

The Photo Album product was recently combined into our Website Tonight editor as an all-together package for the Website Tonight service. Unfortunately, we no longer offer the Photo Album separate of Website Tonight.

Hi, thanks for the response, but Godaddy has now made this a very expensive and inflexible exercise.

I only use either Online File Folders in conjunction with the Blogcast . I’m already paying for the Blogcast [which is website on its own] and simply don’t need Website Online. So now i’m forced to pay $5 a month -just- to get the Photo Album .

I can only recommend Godaddy rethink this. Either include Photo Album with Blogcast ALSO [why isn't it included anyway?] or keep it as a seperate module at the previous price [about $2 a month last i checked] .

We appreciate your feedback and I will make sure to get this to the appropriate parties. In the mean time, I recommend that you get in touch with our Support team regarding this matter. It seems that we may still have the ability to have this added to your cart from our end so that you won’t have the purchase a Website Tonight plan. Thanks!

Thanks i’ll find out what support can do. I know i can upgrade the free photo album to a paid one, but it does not give me any options to do this for a full year or at least in conjunction with my related products [which are all annual products] .
