Shopping Cart Inventory Not Updated Until Payment is Captured.

When I only have one left of an item in my shopping cart and someone orders it, QSC does not update the inventory that there are none left until after you capture the payment. So if someone else orders the same item before I have gotten to capture the payments, it will process the order for them also. I won’t know this until after I capture all the payments and print them out. At this point, it’s too late to refund one of them. Any suggestions?

You should be able to change this setting. Check out the link below:

Under the To Update General Preferences section, step 6 has information on updating this setting.

You’ll have to expand the General tab to see the Inventory descriptions.
