@jizzy

You’d need to check your site and see what links don’t resolve unfortunately. It’s basically reading the links and checking the sites they go to. If you click where it says “X Pages have broken links” it should show you which pages. Check your links to other sites on those pages and you’ll find the one that doesn’t work. It could also just be when we crawled the site that link didn’t work at the time.

I checked all my links and they seem to be fine, going to correct destination, but I’m still getting the error message. Is it possible there’s links in the script I can’t see that might be creating the error? For example, I have conversion tracking which creates a link based on page clicks.

That could be a possibility. I recommend contacting our 24 hour support team through http://support.godaddy.com/support so our tech guys can review the errors within your account and try to pinpoint the reason for the error.

Thanks for posting!

@jizzy,

I’ve looked into the issue experienced by your specific site. The problem that we’re encountering is with the site clickbook.net to which you are linked. It is refusing to negotiate a secure connection (over HTTPS) with our spider.

That said, you can be confident that these are false positives, and can safely ignore them.

Thank you for using Search Engine Visibility!

Hi Rob,

I have the same issue with my site http://www.pharma-emrm-evangelist.com. I have gone thru every link via view source> find http:> and clicked thru on every link. In addition, I have a broken link plugin installed and it is not finding any broken links. Can you assess my site, determine if I have the same issue (false positive) and what is causing the issue? Thank you for your patience and understanding. Regards, John Wes Green

I reviewed your homepage and was unable to locate any broken links as well. I’m unable to determine what is causing Search Engine Visibility to display the page as having broken links. You may want to get in touch with our 24 hour support team so our tech guys can review each of the pages showing as having broken links to see if they can find any similarities between the different pages.
