I opened my website over six months ago (http://www.supernalboost.com) but have yet to get any listings in the search engines, even though I have submitted my site through SEV, and manually to many. I have adwords campaings, PPC in other places, Bing/Yahoo ad campaings and yet no search engine has listed me yet. I have read it may take up to 6 months, but really? Not one listing in seven months?

I began using google webmaster tools to see how their robot would see my website. I ran it for three of my pages – supernalboost.com, supernalboost.com/index.html & supernalboost.com/turrubares.html. For the first two I got the following output:

This is how Googlebot fetched the page:
HTTP/1.1 302 Found
Connection: close
Pragma: no-cache
cache-control: no-cache
Location: /LiNoX/index.html

however for supernalboost.com/turrubares.html I got a completely different output, as if the robot was indeed reading the page:
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
Date: Thu, 09 Feb 2012 18:21:38 GMT
Server: Apache
Accept-Ranges: bytes
Vary: Accept-Encoding
Content-Encoding: gzip
Content-Length: 1808
Keep-Alive: timeout=15, max=100
Connection: Keep-Alive
Content-Type: text/html

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN” “http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd”>
<html xmlns=”http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml”>
<head>
<meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=utf-8″ />
<title>Supernal Boost</title>
… it goes on to display the complete page code.

I don’t understand the difference between the three, is this the reason I haven’t gotten listed yet anywhere? How can I correct this?

I appreciate the help!

@gamitavo – I am seeing your domain listed in the top search engines.

But I do see you have two <title> tags, as well as tags in the wrong location.

This should be inside your head:

<title>SupernalBOOST Order Tracking</title>
<meta name="description" content="Track your Supernal Boost orders via email"/>
<meta name="keywords" content="Supernal boost,orders,order tracking,order"/>

Move it to replace this on the 6th line of code:

<title>Supernal Boost</title>

@gamitavo

I do see that the site is listed on the search engines, however, the report that you have provided indicates that the site is being redirected. The 302 redirects are filters setup to maintain the integrity of the hosting server while we investigate and resolve an issue(s). These filters are temporary and will be removed as soon as possible.

On Google you can search for “site:yourdomain.com” (without quotes). You can also get more information from Google Webmaster Tools.
