Cretificate request Problem
s_venki said 1 year ago:
Hi,
I have purchased a standard ssl certificate for 1 year. My domain name is http://www.inød24.no, which has a special character. On submitting the Certificate Signing Request (CSR), I get the following message.
The name entered in the CN(Common Name) field of the CSR MUST be the fully-qualified domain name for the Web site you will be using the certificate for (e.g., “www.domainnamegoeshere.com”), or a valid Intranet domain name. Do not include the “http://” or “https://” prefixes in your common name. The common name cannot include spaces. Do NOT enter your personal name in this field.” Please help me to resolve this.

@s_venki
We should be able to support your common name, even with the ‘ø’ special character. Are you adding ‘http://’ to the common name in your CSR? That could cause the same error.
If the issue continues, you may want to send your CSR to our support team and they can take a closer look. They can be reached at http://support.godaddy.com/support.
Hope this helps!
