PERMALINK DATE EDITING PAST AND FUTURE

Make it possible to edit permalink dates so you can go back or forward in time the way you could before you “updated” everything. Now you can schedule a post for the future, but the permalink date will be the day you set the forward post, so your post is out of date the minute it is posted.
I run a service for subscribers that requires I back date posts which I could do with my quickblog and now cannot. I sent out posts by email to a list of clients who wanted timely messages. Four or five months later I added these posts to my blog with the original post date (two or three months ago) on the posts. NOW I MUST DISCONTINUE THAT BUSINESS OR MOVE TO A NEW SERVICE PROVIDER. Why did you think not being able to have the permalink match a forward scheduled post was an improvement? Why did you think not being able to back post was an improvement? Or as designers have suggested to me, did you not realize this change would happen and now you have disadvantaqed customers? Writing this into the design void is frustrating. Love to know if a human receives this and what will happen as a result of my taking time to work for go daddy. Otherwise loved the quick blog and I will be sorry to have to move on.
