I just bought up storage space from Godaddy. I am a newbie at this and do not know how to link my space through an FTP for file transfer.

I hope somebody can help me out on this.

@pankajk:

Since this was posted in the Cloud Servers forum, just wanted to clarify if you’re asking about FTP for Online Storage or Cloud Servers?

If you’ve meant for Online Storage, you can connect using any FTP client (We recommend FileZilla). You would use the username and password you specified when you set up the account, and use onlinefilefolder.com as your FTP host/server.

Accessing Online Storage Using an FTP Client

If you were asking about Cloud Servers, then you would need to make sure you’re connecting to FTP using a port number you have port forwarding enabled on (while 21 is the default port number for FTP, you could, technically, open a different port for that).
