A problem installing piwik in root

Hello,
I am trying to install piwik and ran into problems at step 3 “Database Setup”. I get the following error when I use pdo_mysql “Error while trying to connect to the database server:
SQLSTATE[HY000] [2013] Lost connection to MySQL server at ‘reading initial communication packet’, system error: 111″.
When I use mysqli I get the following error “Error while trying to connect to the database server:
Can’t connect to MySQL server on ’127.0.0.1′ (111)”.
My hosting package is linux.
Any suggestions on how to fix this are appreciated.

The first thing you will want to check is that you are using the correct settings within your piwik installation for the database you have set up within your hosting account. You can use the steps in the following help article to review your settings:

Hi,
I am having the same issue, but I have used the hostname for the right place, but Piwik is giving this error Error while trying to connect to the database server:
Access denied for user 'lbs1307812402767'@'184.168.152.79' (using password: YES)
I have tried this over and over. Even with a new SQL created it is giving the database connection error.
Please help me with this issue!
