Blocked IP after failed SSH

I understand how GoDaddy may want to block an IP from accessing a website if several failed attempts were made to ssh into the website. Ofcourse this could be an attack scenario.
What is surprising is the inability of Support to recognize a known problem and the unavailability of logs to highlight this issue. Also if the website owner locks herself out, should Godaddy not be able to remedy this situation?
Thanks @fixmyproblem for the first post! Else I would be stuck in a loop of GoDaddy and QWest until GoDaddy’s scripts automatically unblocked me.
Apparently not. Thumbs down!

Add me to the list of people experiencing the same problem. What makes me most upset is that I have to delay rolling out a site for a customer because my primary IP address where the development is being done is blocked.
There really needs to be an administration function to at least whitelist a group of IPs that might accidentally type the wrong password for SSH access.
