my site was hacked and now that it’s clean, I want to reset admin password (i’ve already changed ftp password).
I’m not a techie so I need a step-by-steo procedure.

It would depend on the application you are using. If you are using a product such as WordPress, you can reset the password in your admin control panel. You may want to visit http://www.wordpress.org for instructions on how to do so if you are unsure. I’ve included a link below as well:

Otherwise, if you have another application, please provide us more info on the application, and we will try to direct you where to reset the password.
