Our domain: rincon.net
Hosting: Hosting – Web – Economy – Linux
We are using vTiger crm for our internal use. We would like to enable IMAP support in PHP on our domain.
Kindly let us know the procedure for the same.

You would not be able to utilize the IMAP PHP extension in the shared hosting environment. If you require IMAP, you may need to consider moving the site to a Virtual Dedicated Server.

Thank you for the prompt reply. Can you let us know if ‘Ports 465 is NOT blocked for outgoing connections’ We are trying to configure ONLY OUTGOING SERVER in vTigerCrm referring the article ‘http://sourceforge.net/projects/vtigercrm/forums/forum/401875/topic/3710121′
Your input will help us configure the same.

This port is not open with our shared hosting plans, you would want to look at our Virtual or Dedicated servers for this feature.

Can you please look into opening this port for shared hosting clients? I am in the same boat as the thread starter and would like to use this with my Godaddy shared hosting account.

Thank you for posting on our support forum, I will be sure to pass this along to our developers for consideration.

I would like this ability too. Thanks! =) Hope for some good news… Think many have left GoDaddy due to this restriction and not being able to successfully install vTigerCRM due to the php.ini configurations

I too would like to see GoDaddy’s IMAP PHP extension enabled in the shared hosting environment… As a junior developer. I have used that specific feature with other hosting companies and it’s quite nice developing email systems for large firms.
The benefit of understanding the simplicity of how we can put one and one together , as a programmer, equaling greatness can only be best explained with a quote, “If only GoDaddy had their IMAP PHP extension enabled…”
Till then,

Hi
We also want php with imap extension enabled. We recently moved out hosting to godaddy and are surprised that godaddy does not offer this feature. Other service providers offer this feature on shared hosting without any problem.
