500 internal server error (wordpress)- help!

Following have been behaving very strangely in last two weeks, resulting in “Internal Server Error”.
mod_rewrite not working correctly. Resulting in no condition match and 404 errors.
All these .htaccess are untouched and worked fine for as long as I can remember.
Looks like some genius has done some ‘upgrade’.
I know for sure, it’s an ‘upgrade’. Previously, in the middle of term ‘upgrade’ to ‘better’ server resulted in half the performance.
I have given up on tech support, long time back. Just counting my remaining hosting days.

My website http://www.imetricsolutions.com is showing ’500 Internal server’error and ‘Page not found’ error from different geographical locations at the same time.
I have transferred all the necessary files on the server yet I don’t understand the reason behind ‘Page not found’ error.
I have also never modified the default .htaccess files.

There was a recent upgrade to Apache. The article included below addresses the issue you are experiencing with your .htaccess file.
“Issues with Server-Side Includes and .htaccess Files”
Your site appears to be fully accessible at the moment. I ran a test at host-tracker.com and found no reports of 500 errors on your site from multiple locations around the world. You can check out the results at http://h-t.co/yccm. If the issue is intermittent, you may want to try contacting our 24 hour telephone support team at 480.505.8877 while the issue is present so we can take a look at the hosting account while it is effected.
