If you are wanting to backup your site content to a local directory, you could download a copy of these files via the same FTP client you used to upload the files.

I think he meant making a .zip downloadable file with GoDaddy account. Well, at least that’s what I want to know if we can do.

Our shared hosting plans are configured to support ‘un-zip’ of .zip file content. However, you would not be able to zip a directory within the hosting account for backup purposes.
