I am trying to set up a web app that requires a DB it needs the host name and when I use the one give when following the steps above it fails.

Host Name:

dokeoscmgold.db.8217901.hostedresource.com

Is that really the string I should be using?
in my setup I get teh following error:
MySQL error: 1045
Access denied for user ‘dokeoscmgold’@’184.168.152.73′ (using password: YES)
Details: The database connection has failed. This is generally due to the wrong user, the wrong password or the wrong database prefix being set above. Please review these settings and try again.
If still is typing please continue

You will want to ensure that the connection information you entered in your application is correct. This article explains how you are able to locate your database connection string in your Hosting Control Center. You could then review that information and ensure that it is correct.

Gary,
I am using that article to get the host name string and I am copy and pasting it, along with the data base user and the password. I have logged into the phpMyAdmin with the user credentials so I know the user name and password are correct.
What else am I missing?
Thanks
Craig

Gary,
I have sorted my issue, I changed a setting that would allow me multiple Data bases to a single one and all is fine and am set up.
Thanks
Craig
